Who am I?

I am a musician and software developer living on the southeast coast of England.

My practice

My work stems from a love of imperfections, repetition, and stillness; on the verge of breaking but not quite. I tend to use (and listen to) warm electronic sounds, field recordings, and tape hiss.

Principles

#

Very much inspired by the 12k principles, I try to keep these present:

1. Leave space for the listener.
2. Treat the sound as your primary concern.
3. Accept the sounds of the world.
4. Impose limitations.
5. Change constantly but imperceptibly.
6. Remove.
7. Be kind to yourself and others.
