I saw Falle Nioke at The Margate School’s No Surrender benefit gig. You can hear him playing a gongoma, of which The Internet seems to know very little. In a nutshell, it’s a finger piano mounted on top of a gourd (or calabash), typically painted in very vibrant colours.

P.S. The sound quality is a bit “gig in a random room with lots of people walking around” but it still sounds beautiful to me. I cut it short to avoid distracting noises, but it’s easily loopable.
