The day outside

I have been collecting sounds and photographs over the past few months.

This record is me sorting through them, bringing some order to the chaos, while Laurie Anderson plays on repeat on the back of my head

What Fassbinder film is it?
The one-armed man comes into the flower shop and says: "What
flower expresses 'days go by, and they just keep going by endlessly,
endlessly pulling you into the future. Days go by endlessly,
endlessly pulling you into the future'?"

And the florist says: "White lily."

I guess everyone feels a bit like that these days.
